8th Grade Information
Dear 8th grade parents,
It’s time again to start planning for our yearly Washington D.C. trip. We’ve organized a trip to bring history to life through the sights, sounds, and hustle-bustle of Washington, D.C. Your student(s) received a presentation about our trip today in class.
The trip is scheduled for April 6-8, 2020 and includes exploring the National Museum of African American History, The U.S. Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, Monuments tour, White House Photo Stop, and a visit to George Washington’s Mt. Vernon.
Our goal is to take as many kids as possible, but initial spots are only open to the first 140 participants (3 full buses). Any reservations after that will be wait-listed until we have a full bus.
Chaperones will be needed be registered and approved as a CMS Volunteer and can book at the link below. The chaperone rate is $559 (2 adults per room).
We are holding an information meeting in the media center on Wednesday, September 18th from 5:00 to 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
